EKG

An electrocardiograph is a basic screening to determine if there are problems with the heart.

Nuclear Stress Test

Nuclear agent is injected through an IV before and after exercise to look for heart blockages. It is a safe and effective way to evaluate blood flow through the heart and arteries. Through the use of a camera, images of the heart show where the heart muscle may not be receiving enough blood and oxygen.

Holter / Event Monitors

Holter monitors are worn 1 to 3 days to look for abnormal heart rhythms. Event monitors are a loop recording device worn for an extended period of time to record the heart’s activity.

Echo Cardiograms

A painless ultrasound test used to view the heart and observe abnormalities. The test uses high pitched sound waves to create pictures of the heart.

Vascular Ultrasound

A simple non invasive test to screen for blockages and circulation problems within the arteries of the lower extremities.

Venous Ultrasound

A simple non invasive test to screen for blood clots, check for enlarged arteries and screen for the source of varicose veins.

ABI (Ankle Brachial Index)

A non invasive test that measures blood pressures in arms and legs to evaluate for blockages of the lower extremities.
